Default Mauser Banner 1906/34 Portugese Army Contract

I would like to get some info on my Portugese contract pistol. The pistol has all matching serial numbers except fo the side plate which is no. 59. The pistol serial number is 2509v. Magazine is wood bottom but no visible serial number, the rear grip strap is smooth, no stock slot. Overall condition is good, bluing is good and straw is good. bore is good and function is good. Wooden grips are good but not marked. There is a mark which looks to be a double crown over a U on the front left side of the receiver and on the left side of the tang of the breech block. The Mauser banner is on the center link of the toggle train. The extractor is marked carregada on the left sideand seguranca is on the rear side below the safety lever.
As always I appreciate any info forthcoming, I would send a couple of photos, but not sure how to accomplish that.
Thanks again, barr44

If you have a "smart" phone, take pics, save them on your phone. Attach them to an email sent to yourself. Save the pics on your computer. Use the "Go Advanced" button to create a post and then attach the pics.

FYI: I always find it simpler to edit from a computer:

The Go Advanced edit option has an "Additional Options" menu at the bottom, which includes "Attach Files", with a "Manage Attachment" radio button - it calls up a secondary window just for uploading files.

:
The Manage Attachments window allows you to choose up to 10 different photos file at a time, which will be in your smartphone files or photo album.

Then you have to tell it to UPLOAD all of them (I still forget that last step.)

Please don't link to photos on other web sites for all kinds of reasons.

Using a smartphone does work, but it's easy to lose track of the open windows, if you are not familiar with how to use it.

Just my opinion.

Please ask for help if you need it by sending a PM.
