Eric,
I have six more in "ready" reserve.
One of each front/rear sight type combination of the 1917's; spares of the '15 and '16; Black and red 9 grips; and my shooter is a 1914 Erfurt(reblued).

I'm looking for "double date" Artilleries now, so if anyone has one for sale- please let me know.

Here is the squad.

This is my 1917 DWM Arty. Eric, you'll be interested to know that my "Luger virginity" was lost in 2011 when I acquired this example from a RIAC auction (It was also the first pistol I ever owned!).

Original finish, all matching, and in wonderful condition--but you'll note the ubiquitous "million dollar chip" on the left grip...and also the missing stock lug. I got an appropriate chunk of frame from G.T., which is awaiting its chance to be sectioned and welded to the gun's frame so I can use a stock with it again.

Eric - Is that a Navy stamp on the gripstrap of an Artillery Luger??? Did you post a thread about it, perhaps with a Geo Anderson writeup???

I did find a post by you about it but without George's usual writeup...

Thanks for searching that out, Eric!

Just in case it got mislaid/separated, George had a second page for that LP08. Probably not much, just the 'bringback' paper information, and maybe some personal information about James Anderson, the vet who brought it back.

Sorry that is the only page I still have! I'm lucky to have that! I sure George would be able to address any concerns~

Nah! I just thought you might have found it and not known which of the 40 or so Lugers you have that the second page belongs to.

I keep running across part numbers, scribbled notes addressing issues of something or other, and phone numbers/URLs/street addresses of companies that I have no idea what they are for...

My browser address book contains names I no longer remember...Who are these people??? I don't know...
