Honesty is the most important thing with wives- once you can fake that, you've got it made! Bill

Years ago I answered an ad for a M1a in the local paper.
Went over and it was "as new" in the box for a very reasonable price.
The seller was a young firefighter who liked the rifle and even did competition shooting with it.
His only remark was that he needed to buy a set of golf clubs for his wife. I have wondered what his crime was.

Unfortunately it didn't work with my prior wives!

May I suggest some serious study of a true master of the art:

The essay / lecture starts on page 202 of this book:

https://archive.org/details/22362450...e/n11/mode/2up

"The Decay of the Art of Lying" by Mark Twain

The book is free to download as PDF, or EBook and there is an audio version too:

I hope I was able to help G.T. out a tiny bit by buying a Luger from him. Although I doubt he made any money since he sold it to me quite cheaply. You are a good man, G.T., and I'd offer to buy another one but CA only allows one gun transfer every 30 days.

Hi Frank, yes, you have! It all helps and you are now, one of many on this forum who have helped me carry on in this hobby of ours! More than the purchase, I appreciate the trust and friendship, and try very hard to live up to expectations.... I hope you have a good experience with your first luger, and if we run into any issues, we will take care of them pronto! Best to you, til....lat'r......GT
