Default Luger firing pin

Thanks to all of you that answered my post. As I´live in

Peru and not in the USA, reloaded ammo, due to goverment regulations is very scarce. Factory ammo is avaliable in

FMJ only from Remington and Winchester (Other brands like

S&B, Fiocci and PMC is randomly avaliable) and this is what

I plan to use. Fluting the original firing pin is not an

option, but replacing it with an aftermarket one is the best solution for me. I bought this gun from a guy who purchased it from an old German that brought the gun from

his country back in the 50´s. Any more information that could help me to safely use my gun will be greeted.

Default Welcome Antonio.

You should have no problem using your Luger safely with the ammunition you have mentioned. You may find that it prefers one over the other... Try a box of each brand that is commonly available and see which is the most reliable and accurate and then stick to that brand.

Come back soon and let us know how it shoots...

regards,

John
