Default My 'new' 1920 DWM

The serial number is 4694 over 'M' and is all matching except for the trigger bar and grips. The grips seem to be made of plastic? I have ordered a set of new walnut repro grips for it. It is caliber 30 luger with nice shiny barrel. I field stripped it to clean/oil it. The parts have very close tolerance fitting unlike today's modern pistols where you put the parts in a bag, shake bag vigorously and they fall into place. 8-) I only need a trigger bar stamped with '94' to complete it. Very happy with it.

Tim, If your luger is a true commerical, it should have a relieved, unnumbered trigger bar. I have a few at various prices, even a few for that have been drilled for the Police sear safety. TH

Tom, my DWM Alphabet commercial is also in the "M" block. Mine is about 3,000 pistols later in production. Date is likely 1923.

Default Trigger bar

The trigger bar has a '23' stamped on it. I would like to replace it with one stamped '94' because it 'shows'. Here are some pics
