Default Toggle closes on last round

No It still closes about 1/2 the time or more on the last round and you reminded me that I should figure it out. Maybe Doc can help us with a few ideas. I did change to Lubraplate a grease that contains Molybdenum and it seems to have stopped the ware on the toggle parts.
As I will be 68 next month my eyes are not quite as good as they were when I was younger and I found that a little Red and White nail polish on the sights helped for a lot quicker and more accurate aiming. See Pics.

Roger that about your eyes, getting old is not for sissies/lol. Is this a mitchell, i owned it a few years ago, al i can remember it was stamped american eagle, houston texas. I did not keep it very long, it had problems and never really tried to fix them and found a new buyer for it. Perhaps it could have had the problems worked out if i had tried. Anyway it's long gone and i was just curious if mittchell and american eagle were the same gun?

Yes... see the manufacturer's mark just above the grip that says "Houston, TX" ? ALL were produced by the same company under different names.
