Walther PPK
Afternoon all, have located a Walther PPK in a local store, .380, consignment gun, brown wrap around grips, serial # 115745A. Condition is as close to 100% as can get, non matching magazine, no visible import marks. Asking for an approximate value.
thanks |

What they are asking for it would be a great information point.
So would any markings, the serial number sounds like a post war produced PPK.

Were the WW2 military guns .380 or .32 auto?

Primarily 7.65, but 9mm Kurz were manufactured early enough to be Crown N proofed. (802,599 the earliest I've seen reported)

I don't know what you mean by non matching magazine, these from this era were not numbered. By the serial number you gave, it looks like the one you are looking at has a 1966 date stamp. I just picked this one up for $550 a few weeks ago and I bought it as a shooter/carry piece because of condition. It is only 8 numbers away from the one you are looking at. Didn't come with anything but what you see and the mag is incorrect. The other one that is NIB with all of the goodies was bout $1050 a few years ago. Always keep in mind that they are not made like this anymore.
