$3500 for a bringback?

hey guys. First off, sorry I don't have pictures. secondly, at my local gun shop, there's a guy selling his luger AT the gun shop for $3500 and he's saying it's a bringback. It's a 1941, mauser. The ouside has matching numbers and all that and I haven't had a chance to tear it down and see if everything else is matching. It has a holster with it (says it's not matching but were they issued matched?).

Anway, if it's truly legit after I break it down, is a bringback really worth $3500?? Thanks guys!
