Post Reference Books on Unit Markings

I remember seeing a reference in a recent thread to a good publication covering unit matkings. I've got "German Small Arms Markings" by Gortz, but I believe there is another on out by "Knoll"? Any info would be appreciated.

Idoman,

The book is The Imperial German Regimental Marking by Jeff Knoll. I am fortunate enough to have copy number 27 suitably inscribed by Jeff.

He frequents Jans boards and I think if you check the FS part of Jan's, there is contact info as he is still trying to sell this wonderful reference.

Lyn, it is also in this ref area on the forum;

The Imperial German Regimental Markings http://home.earthlink.net/~nopubl/orderfrm.htm [Revised Edition] $30 each plus $4 Priority Mail postage - Contact the author Jeff Noll, P.O. Box 7184, Ventura, CA 93006 USA

In my opinion, him and Jan sell their book for about $10 less than they should...

Ed,
Dont give them any ideas, Jan and Jeff's books are very good value.

The nice thing about Jan's books is us poor people can afford the whole set without getting a second mortgage and they are very well done. Even my wife likes to look at the photos.

Jeff's book with the "Truppen Register" alone is worth the value of the book.

Thank you Jeff and Jan for the great books <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" />
