Default Inexpensive Reproduction Magazines

I tried to use the search function to find any info on where to purchase a decent reproduction magazine but came up with nothing. Is there any modern company making reproduction magazines for the Luger? I have a shooter but only one magazine. I would like to have a few extra magazines so that I don't have to reload the one magazine everytime.

If anyone could point me to a source for an inexpensive magazine it would be greatly appreciated!

Yes I have seen those but no one seems to have them in stock! Are they still making them? Does anyone know a source that has them in stock?

Look on E-Bay or Gun Broker under Luger Mag.

George, I've been doing that for over a month already. All I find is people selling originals for $100++. There is a repro on ebay that just got listed and I am watching that. I was hoping to just buy a couple of new ones from an online store but everyone seems to be out of stock for quite awhile already.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Default shooter mags...

Hi jags, I buy and sell alot of MEC-GAR Luger mags, but generally I up-grade them with any type of bottom that would be correct for your needs... Walnut, aluminum, navy or standard style... The MEC-GAR mags cost me $35.00 to start with, and with up-grades and postage included, I can deliver the best looking and best functioning Luger mag available to date... my price on GT Specialties up-graded MEC-GAR mag is $95.00 shipped to you...let me know if your are interested...Best to you, til...lat'r...GT

Thanks for the info guys!! I did mention "inexpensive" and, although I'm sure your upgrades are great, $95 is a bit much. The regular Mec-Gar would be fine and I do see them listed from $25-$35. But of course no one has them in stock.

I will try Gerald Tomek.

Anybody know of anyplace else that may still have them in stock?

Thanks again!

I have an older Triple K magazine, (over 25 years old) that I'd sell for $35, plus S&H

Really would like to simply buy 2 or 3 new mags for about $30 each from the same place so that they can be shipped together. Don't want to get one here and one there and then have to pay for shipping each one of them. I'm in Hawaii so shipping can add a lot extra to the cost.

G. T. mags are hands down the best game in town. Yes, they cost more than stock Mec-Gars, but although shooter-grade Lugers may come and go, those mags are here to stay. Hold your nose and buy a couple today.

CDNN shows a 7 rd Luger mag for 19.99 iirc, but the make is not shown. I don't know what they are, Triple K or ?

Sarco shows mag pouch with two wood base mags for $56.50. I didn't check to make sure in stock, probably not.

I'd go with GT's offer, definitely.

Mecgar, direct? http://www.mec-gar.com/Magazines/Luger

These mags are Stoeger OEM mags. I have 3 of them, and they work o.k. in a couple of my shooter Lugers. The QC on them is not nearly as good as the MecGar, but I am not having good results with the MecGar Luger mag, even with a +5% mag spring in it. I have had a great experience with MecGar mags in many other handguns, in fact, they are my mag of choice, just not so with my Lugers.
