John, Tom never owned a .45 cal Luger.

Sorry for the confusion but this thread travels like an unending roller coaster.

Tom did own a 1908 first military that had provenence to von Papen in the First World War.

Thanks for the update Ed, and George for the quick response... sorry I wasn't clear about which Luger of Tom's I was asking about.

I also remembered discussing a Luger with provenance to von Pappen with Tom over lunch one day in Centerville... but I never actually saw it in person so wasn't sure if it was engraved or not.

Tom Armstrong did own an engraved presentation Luger. It was a Kreighoff that was presented to Auslands Gauleiter Bohle. I finally sold it last year thanks to the help of a fellow forum member.

Sorry , 35 is in the next 8 we are working on now.
Theses are remaining early orders.

Each gun has been to the range at least 3 times,
Tested with 9 different kinds of ammo.
And all magazines were tested as well.

They do have preferred round, but work with all we tested.

People please shoot your guns...

I got my gun yesterday afternoon and I was so pleased the fit and finish is out standing going to the range Saturday morning

Well weather cooperated for one day and went to my gun club to shoot some trap and brought the 45 Luger to try it out. You know right away it’s definitely not 9mm Luger when you pull the toggle back.
Four of us took turns shooting at clay birds set into a dirt berm at 25 yards. One of the shooters opined that it was comfortable to shoot, very little kick, everyone agreed; it is sweet to shoot. No targets just clay birds at 25 yards and several hit the birds, not me, old eyes, but close. My opinion is very accurate gun. Need to try it on targets with a rest when weather cooperates. Looking at 3-6” of snow predicted. April???
I’d say Eugene AKA, Lugerman has got a winner, beautiful gun, accurate, comfortable to shoot, reliable.

I would be curious to know how many members here ordered one. I knew requesting a baby luger I would probable be one of the last in the first batch to receive mine even though I may well have put my order in earlier than others. I am sure it will be worth the wait.
