Besides all of the aforementioned benefits, the stuff seems to work just fine, though there are, no doubt, more modern and advanced formulas out there. Since we're talking about cleaners that do or do not make you yak, how about Ballistol? The first few times I used it, I checked the bottom of my shoes because I was certain I stepped in s**t! But the stuff is awesome and well worth tolerating the smell.
