Wayne,
Congratulations on getting this Luger - I still don't have a 1912. Im very interested to see if the grips are matching to your gun. Please post if you can. I think you did not overpay (to me - I too was watching this but it got a little to rich for my current budget). - Geo

Well it arrived and I think Ill keep it. I wont have time to take proper photos until this weekend but here are a few pics to get started.
The barrel has a nice patina to it that is consistent with the breachblock color it also has a nice screaming chicken on right side, Erfurt Crown on left side as well as the erfurt crown on the front sight blade. Gun is all matching except mag. But i had one that was only 19 off. At least I think its the right type. Also has a Nice unbroken ERFURT Crown on middle toggle link. |

Very nice gun!!
And an impressive collection! What is the meaning if the "XIII.171" ? Have been soaking up the historical YouTube video series on Luger development and background. These are really well done ![]() This weekend I visit my forum friend from whom I am buying that 1918 shooter and possible a Swiss 7,65 mm .... that'll be a good outing. Looking forward to more pics- nice addition- looks like you did very well ![]() |
