![]() Getting back to the barrel...Second pic shows the front sight blade shortened and rounded. I chose to copy the Colt Gold Cup blade profile, which has the front sight blade cut at a 1º angle. Third pic shows the side and top view of the finished barrel, with Mauser carbine sight installed. At this time, I have not decided whether to shorten the rear sight leaf or leave it at the 1400 meter extent. ![]() Fourth pic shows the barrel ready to install.
