Im sorry for the cofusion, im using the frech version, LA connaisance DU LUGER, PAR ecrit G, HERROTIN,'LE LIVRE EVENEMENT. my french and english are a bit askew, since my stroke and coma in costa rico, 3 years ago, this week, i have a professional photographer, take awsome closups of all the marks, enscriptions, The problem is the supposed French luger displayed in your archives is a fraud, i blind collector can tell, ie no numerals at backstap,The only part that seems legit is the inscription, on the barrel, nothing is where it should be,The most obvious clue would be a 2 digit matching number on the inside grip near the safety,a number on the edge of the sideplate, another on the takedown an marked matching grips,I willing for anyone so knowlegable to examine it, Has anyone seen the 1903 avec "charge' I just dont want my collegues to make my first mistake, SNOOKEM13@AOL.COM. i hope im wrong with the other'so,labelled /??frenchy, you decide

Hi Eric here owner of tommy consigment luger #51972, i have come accrooss, les fleurs emblem except on the Luger pictured on 'LUGER"THE multinational PISTOL, featured on page 114-115,the author claim that his specimin featured, is the sole exaple, with the 'fleur/flower engraving, This i find, must be taken at its word, The fact that his listed french is the sole flower in paris reminds me of the rarety of trouve une buton sole, en paris, I do commend his work, but for his discription on the 'inferior workmanship. of the 1920 carbine, open for examination, and whitness my a few of our friend in Arizona, PS great work to pete and his crew, je vous a'ime au tout! merci, eric snookem13@aol.com

ERIC, THESE POSTS ARE FROM 2003. YOU HAVE ANSWERED YOUR SELF FIVE TIMES THUS KEEPING THE POSITNG ALIVE.
If no one responds it might be because you aren't really asking a question, but commenting about your Frechie pistol. Stop it or I'll have to come over to your house and bopp you with a penguin on the head. Ed Tinker

Gee, I missed all the fun.
BTW, Eric, what specality does your Ph.D cover?. My son is a lawyer and practicing defense attorney and has a JD which, of course, is considered to be a Ph.D.. Your claiming a JD and a Ph.D is remarkable and unusual. Please advise; I'm curious. Thanks--Harry |

Eric and all,
I don't mean to be disrespectful to anyone but this string is becoming annoying. This is the Luger Forum: The general topic is lugers. In this particular case the topic once was a questionable French Luger; something of genuine interest. However, that string took a left turn into bizzaro land about a year and a half ago. If there is nothing new to report please find another venue for social banter. KFS |

Karl,
Your compassion is overwhelming, so your unintentional disrespect is understandable. May you always enjoy good health, good judgment and the continued ability to seize upon those things that annoy you and comment on them rather than just ignoring them and moving on.

Ron, to at least back Karl up a bit, I asked Eric to quit using this thread and he replied three more times.
I have known him for about 5 or 6 years and sometimes Eric needs a reality check and I think he might get one by seeing this... Ed |

I agree Ed, but I doubt it will accomplish what either you or Karl intended. A kinder and gentler thought...reality exists only in each individualâ??s perception. I would suggest closing this thread.
