They sure are proud of their Lugers: http://www.cabelas.com/catalog/searc...luger&x=35&y=7

Which is good for the hobby..............

hayhugh, it would seem so ! I have noticed along and along that Cabelas would have a Luger for sale but never really checked their entire site for offerings. In looking at your link I did notice that they posted some price reductions - wonder if they are very open to offers ?? I also do not personally know of anyone who actually bought from them -- wonder if what they describe is actually what the gun is in hand etc ?

Heard someplace that Cabelas was going out of business - might be a buying opportunity?

I have purchased a couple of firearms from the Gun Library including a Luger and the customer service has been pretty good. I made a real good deal on the Luger I got and even the salesperson I purchased it from said he believed it was mismarked.

While I have not bargained on the price I have seen people do it and they do negotiate

Not everything in there library section is online and I'm not sure that the KU is

In the past, individual Cabelas stores have advertised on Gunbroker.com. I had conversations with the Green Bay Cabelas about an advertised Luger, but any dealings/information exchange I might have had with them were contradicted by my local Cabelas store.
