the soldier wearing the glasses to the right side of this fellow seems to have luger-envy because that fellow has 2 lugers and 2 holsters.

Mike, I wish I had a pic of myself from the ROTC days, with the M1 Garand they gave us for drill. You're right, these guys look pretty much like you'd imagine a busload of draftees disembarking at boot camp. Kiss your fresh-faced innocence goodbye...
