I sent George F a PM; Haven't heard back yet. I put some oil in her this morning; she leaks out at several gaps, etc. but assume I'm getting the oil in a lot of good places.
thanks
Jack

I've not followed the thread, but please be cautions of effectively oiling the ammo.

Jerry,
I agree, technically not a gun part--but with all the guns around that have rather arbitrarily been deemed "assault weapons" here, virtually overnight, the precise categorization of a loader should be checked in this situation. Maybe all the red tape I experienced is unnecessary in this case, but best find out, for sure... My offer is just in case it is needed. If the auction company there chooses not to export to the US, another exporter would need to be found--if an exporter is needed at all.

O.K. guys, I got her apart without any problems. I just took it slow and easy and tried first one screw at a time and tried different techniques to see how she would separate. I tapped gently in key places with a rubber mallot and watched and listened. I could tell that the lid was loose by the sound but it wouldn't come off. Finely I figured out that the tiny screw was holding it in place because the top couldn't slip off.
Now I have it off. I don't know how the items should fit and function properly.
The parts seem to be fine and I hope are all there and work properly. It did contain a good bit of old dried grease. Not as much as I expected.
Any hints on getting her greased up and all back together?
thanks
Jack
