Yes, I have one upstairs, it is a 1908 first issue, but has several Simson and eagle 6 acceptance marked parts

So, if the original poster's pistol had also been through a Nazi era rework center, it could possibly have third reich markings? Now this gets interesting... Too bad we don't have photos. I would still consider it a risky purchase at the asking price...

As you know, Dwight and I are finishing our police luger book, in it and in my collection are lugers that were pre-WW1, WW1, then in the Weimar era and finally nazi era (if they have sear or sear and mag safeties, they are nazi add-on's)

Army and Navy pieces would be in this same situation but you never know with a piece if it was hidden by the military to keep it out of sight of the allied commission.
