Thank You Ron, I could alway be worse! I'm just a little disappointed in some of our medical collegues. My first otho who did the first surgery saw the xrays and said nothing but referred me to a pain clinic to get oxys for the rest of my life. Debbie saw the xrays that you can see above. She immediatly got me in to an accute trauma ortho who is getting me right in. Love that women who also got me out of my coma in Costa Rico ten years ago!l

Eric, I hope you will have a smooth recovery, and a lower amount of hardware store supplies in your legs. Take care and arrange for internet at the bed side!

Thank You. Whats amazing is how these screws broke. It wasnt the bone but the screws. The first surgery was over $50k. Now they have to remove them. I'm demanding to keep the screws. All I got was thats normal and thats now what causng the pain!!!!! I'm sorry but thats not normal recovery. After we saw the xrays his office refused to do anything, Cited they no longer accepted our insurance, Thank God we found an ortho who specialized in orthopedic failures. Well I'm packing my bags and going through another hell. He had to search to find out the manufacture of the failed hardware. Seriously Thank so much for your emotional help. Live by the sword, die by the sword!

Hi, Eric. So sorry to hear of this latest nonsense you are having to go through. If there is anything at all I can do, please don't hesitate to call on me - you have my number. Be well and know that your are in our thoughts and prayers. - Richie

These are normally vanadium screws and should be tough/hard as hell.

Look for a 'made in China' marking when you get them

Ortho injuries on lower extremities are the worst - long healing times and high risk of complications. Get the best surgeon you can find, exercise and PT as best you can, oxycodone for the pain, and strawberry yogurt for the oxycodone.

Healing is a state of mind - if things are tolerable, then you're winning. Get well soon!
