Hej Morgan, don�´t know of any dealers (the second-hand market has just about died since the new 5 year license law came into effect - before they were issued without a time limit imposed), but the bi-annual (spring and fall) weapon auction here in Stockholm usually has several Lugers up for bidding. www.auktionsverket.se At the last auction (March 6th this year) there were 3 or 4 P-08s and a few C-96s as well. You can see pictures of the items and the final bids by entering the catalogue page and rolling down to the auction you want info about. The site is bi-lingual (English and Swedish).

Jimbo, You know you can't legally own a handgun in SF. Maybe that why it was cheap. Also not all "cheap" lugers are bargains after you pay the repair cost to get them working right. Years ago, when I lived in the Bay Area, some of my best bargains were from Cops, during the "turn in your gun for $50" days. TH

Quick confirmation blast from the past... my byf 41 also had the inside of the sideplate stamped one higher than the outside (96/97)
