Not to me it wouldn't. Just recently a Forum member poster a very nicely marked Erfurt mag with a serial and double Erfurt proofs for $185. An Erfurt with an unmarked bottom would fall way below that price everything else being equal.

I don't have one to sell...But I've seen similar mags for sale on GB/eBay and they all seem to be listed for $200...

I love Ebay for various personal reasons..as a BUYER.. not as a seller. It is a good barometer and useful as a comparison yes..There are often unrealistic prices asked. Collector to collector is often the best way to aquire specific items and I always look to the Forums first.
One thing to factor in as far as Ebay is concerned..they charge approximately 20% of the final price to the seller when everything is said and done. INCLUDING shipping believe it or not! There are many hidden variables that exist on Ebay..some positive some negative. I go there everyday to see what might be there but to be honest..I rarely win anything. My concept of what things are worth often butt up against a higher bid or an unrealistic reserve. Here's an eye opener..I often go to completed items..see what sold, for how much and what didn't. Interesting stuff.
