One has to assume(always questionable) that all, or most all, of the pre-1945 Lugers have had a fair amount of ammo run through them over the years.....I am sure there are exceptions. Roger's Interarms Luger is/was unfired new in the box. I own a few original Lugers that run like the proverbial Singer Sewing Machine, but a couple of them took some "tuning" to get there. One can make a P08 run reliably if everything is correct on them.
I will suggest that Roger purchase 3-4 different brands of good quality factory 115-124gr FMJ ammo and do some shooting with his Interarms Luger. That may work out any kinks it may have. Also, and very important, any limp wristing/light gripping of a P08 Luger WILL result in misfeeds and jams. About any Luger shooter will testify to that. |
