Dear Sir,
Our prayers to you and your Family. I apologize for not catching the post about your Mom and Dad. We are with you and by your side. We know that you would not be the great you that has given so much to us, without the love and guidance of your Mom and Dad. Family, yours, ours and mine, that is what our God given life is about. Thank you and God bless you.

There is no set amount... Most send what they think the forum is worth to them on an annual basis... Send what your heart tells you to send for all the enjoyment you get, and all the Luger history, technical support, collector information and assistance you won't find anywhere else on the internet. The Paypal or Snail mail donation link is at the top right corner of every discussion page... Thanks for your inquiry, and welcome to the Lugerforum. I noticed that this is your very first posting!

You folks are amazing - and wonderful... Thank - all of you who have stepped forward to support this site. It is more appreciated than you may realize..

From my end - I owe each and all of you an apology for being so far behind. I recently returned from Florida a couple of days ago after caring for my folks - my Dad had a massive stroke on Dec 31st - and a few hours later, my Mom was admitted as well for a heart attack. None of my brothers and sister live anywhere nearby - so my brother & I did 24 hour 'round the clock at the hospital.

To make a long story short, Dad lost his three week battle to recover late last week. Mom is doing well, however - and we are monitoring her condition with her doctors and cardiologists.

Anyway - I just collected the checks sent in the mail from some of you, and I'll update your titles showing your support of this forum this afternoon. If your title isn't showing properly - PLEASE post in this thread, OK?

My best to all - and again - my sincerest thanks for all your combined support at both a personal level and in supporting this same community...

John D.

My deepest condolences to your and your family on the loss of your Dad... no other words can convey my sentiments. May God bless you and yours with the strength and comfort that only HE can provide at times like this. I shall keep you all, especially your mother, in my prayers.

Just sent a token to help support the site; via paypal. Much thanks to the site and to those who have given me much guidance, encouragement, and other assistance in my three years of involvement. I am beginning to get a small collection of guns and an early stage of knowledge and understanding. It's been fun and enjoyable. The wife wonders why I spend so much time and effort on those old guns. If she only knew. After she learned of the investment value and potential she has eased off quite a bit.
My thanks and a big SALUTE to you all.
Jack

John, donation has been sent. Glad to hear your mother is doing better. We often forget the trials of others, when we become sometimes mirred down in this thing we call life. family should allways be first. i lost my dad 20 years ago a week ago and my mother died on the same day six years later, i still miss them. Grief is nothing but love not wanting to let go. Stay strong and know you and your family are in our prayers. Regards Padre
