I am very saddened by the news. Hugh invited me to be an overnight houseguest during one of my driving treks across the USA... He and his lovely wife Minta were very gracious hosts. I feel honored and privileged to have known him and for the opportunity to have visited the tiny home shop where he did all of his amazing craftsmanship... Rest in Peace old friend...

RIP Hugh- I am lucky enough to own a couple of rework grip sets done by him and I will say the work was top notch and super reasonably priced. Never met Hugh But he was a pleaseure to deal with.

Default My Fathers passing

Luger Community

I would personally like to thank everyone of you for your friendship and trust you carried for my father and his work.

He was a loving father and will be dearly missed by not only his family but the friends he made over his lifetime. His love for Lugers ran deep, first collecting, then refurbishing, to rebuilding "Baby Lugers". His ability to checker grips started back in the early 1980s. He loved doing them and I often joked with him about messing up those fine lines on the grips..

Thank you all for your kind words and respect you had for our father. He will be sorely missed by his family as well as in the Gun, Knife and Coin collecting communities around the globe.

Please post pics of his beautiful work in his memory.

Thank you all again
