Hello,

On Friday I finally had a chance to test on the range.
Both sorts of ammunition did work in my Luger 08.
I will try to get another ammunition with 115 gr and relatively low energy to test. My hope is to get less recoil and a "better feeling".
So far the 08 did work flawless but the operator needs to improve as the result on the target did not meet my expectation.
;-)

Best regards,
Martin

Glad to hear that your Luger is working as hoped for. Many of us feel that most likely our Lugers are better shooters(accuracy wise) than the operator exibits with them......I know that I am one of them..

Hello,

So now I have also tried the 3rd ammo.
It is from MAXXTech.
Data is 115 gr, v0 342m/s, E0 438J

I had the feeling that it is softer than the two others (Magtech and S&B).
Trying it also from my P220, I had the feeling, that it is less precise than the 2 other ammos (from the P220).
I can not give a judgement from the 08, as I cannot call the shots using the 08, yet.

But I had no problems at all with all tree sorts from the 08 (and the P220). So for the moment I will focus on the MAXXTech as my 08-ammo.

Best regards,
Martin
