Any time is a good time -- collectors trade those C&R on regular basis. It's same group of guns cycling among different people over years/decades. No timing issue... unless law changes big time in future, but that's not likely. So any time is a good time.

I've had a C&R for many years. The C&R is cheap to get but expensive to have.

Unless you have other hobbies.... some people love skiing, I went there once, really suffering... some people love watching ball games, buying seasonal tickets watching those,,,, in my lifetime, I only watched once many years ago, Boston Celtics vs Phoenix ?? in Fleet Center, it's free ticket from employer, cannot be more boring... each person has a preference.

Congrats on your first Luger. Just know that many times one Luger leads to a second, then a third....and so goes the addiction. I also own an "i" suffix alphabet Luger. Mine is approx 600 earlier than yours. They are fun shooters!!
