I have a 1920 DWM police marked Pw. B. The 1920 is not as clearly stamped as is the DWM logo, faint but definitely readable. I noticed what appeared to be the evidence of thinning above the chamber thought by some to be from grinding off another date or whatever. Width of space at sides of receiver at barrel flange is about one millimeter and above chamber maybe .25mm. I checked three other Lugers and found the same situation. They were a 7.65 DWM commercial, a 1908 and a S42. Now I don't know what the dimensional variation means, if anything. My 1920 is described fully in a posting a few days ago if anyone is interested.
