Dok's Jewel
For you new guys (and gals too) Check out our Web Master's rework Luger he calls the "Jewel" Shown at the bottom of my profile "Thor" She's a beaut!!! This one of the two major variations I do, this is a "Total Doll Job" the other is "Factory Original finish" or as close as I can come to it! Match the finish-strawing (or lack thereof) and grips to the original variation. Thor

Re: Dok's Jewel
Ted,
When my Double Date is completed shortly, post a photo of it showing the "original type" finish you do. I have another reworked Luger by Ted, and it is absolutly beautiful! The finish is very diffficult to tell from the original. marvin |

Re: Dok's Jewel
Marvin, you'll need two of Dok's cases to display those in!

Re: Dok's Jewel
Rick,
Dok's cases are absolutly beautiful, but I display for myself in the vault. They are/will be the centerpiece of the "Wall of Lugers". I have them hung on pegboard and I go into the vault, lay down on the floor and look up at them. They are beauties. marvin |

Re: Dok's Jewel
Rick,
Well, a small "wall of Lugers". Right now I only have about 21 Lugers and the end of the vault is just the right size to display them. Marvin |

Hey, Ted...
I saw you were once into amateur radio. Are you any kin to Wayne Green, editor of "73" magazine?

Re: Thanks Guys on the Jewel
Fun to name your Lugers! That gun shoots as good as it looks. The bore looks like wet glass. It will be interesting to see what Dok can do with it! Thor
