Help identifying this gun. - Page 2

So do we know what it was chambered for?

It is chambered for the .30 Mauser cartridge. A casting revealed this to be the case, and someone (NOT ME!) had once fired a .30 Luger round through it. The spent case was with the pistol and a quick measurement showed it had fireformed to the .30 Mauser specs.

I think the mystery behind this pistol was put to rest by BG Curtis. Thank the Lord...it was really killing me not to know!
