1936 DWM. Am I missing something?
I won't be drinking milk when I browse the auctions anymore. I'm cleaning it out of my keyboard now after filtering it through my nose.
"rare" 1936 DWM None of the numbers match and, while it isn't bad, the finish isn't perfect either. But the really funny thing is this guy thinks the serial number is the date too. Or is it me that's confused. I'm not expert like the rest of all of you, but it seems that this guy is a little optimistic in his evaluation and pricing.

A very polite email to him confirms he is set at auctioning it at the stated terms. Actually, he got a little P'od.... I quote "No offense taken; don't bid on it then; if you think this to be a 'make beleve garbage junk yard luger'. It my 'scrap part' luger. Why bother writing. You don't want it, so what."
Guess I shouldn't have stuck my nose in this.... Bob |

That's about the response I'd have expected. If he lists stuff that way, there's no reason to believe he'd be any better in real life...

Well, I guess that this is more important than a serious discussion on Vickers Lugers. The membership should benefit from it.

hmmm, Herb, you feel slighted? I'd hate for a member to bid on it, as it is messed uP?

Herb, I would have loved to view your Vickers' thread, but gave up when the data didn't show up after 5 minutes. You must have included a LOT of photos. TH

Vickers? I think I'm a Vicker. I've been using Vicks since I was a kid....
