Gentlemen,

Rest assured that you can do better than the SOG lugers for less money. Below are a few that look good to me. Also watch the forum postings for good deals. KFS

I'd like to say hello, I'm new to this forum. I wanted a Luger all my life and don't yet have one. I'm not new to hand guns but know almost nothing about Lugers. I want a good shooter, the 1920 DWM commercial mentioned above looks good and the price is acceptable. I do want a matching gun with an excelent bore. I intend to shoot the gun so 9mm is preferable. Any suggestions?

Karl:

David Condon is a local dealer in Virginia, specializing in antique and collectible firearms is about a 40 minute drive from my house and this morning, after my breakfast meeting I stopped in and purchased the Luger that you posted a link for. His Luger was cheaper than the SOG Luger and of superior quality. Thanks for helping me find one in my back yard.

Yes, I intend to as I have learned quite a lot since being on the forum. It is a bit slower than some of the other boards I go to which have more activity, but the quality of members here is highier than some other boards. I hope that in the spring I will have the funds to go after more historical pieces, like an American Eagle Luger.
