Hi Mark,
You would be better off sticking with other luger dealers such as Simpsons, FGS, Joe Salter, etc. Those three folks have excellent, strong reputations with advanced collectors and I know some collectors that have bought from these dealers for years and years. This PIA outfit seems to be peddling lots of re-blues, etc. at premium prices...difficult to get your money back if you are not happy. Notice the words "original finish" very seldomly appear in their sales ad descriptions on their web site. There is a reason for that. And try to download some of their photos and text descriptions from their web site...LOL... Do a search on the LF for "Phoenix Investment Arms" and you will get the idea about this outfit from reading other discussion threads... p.s. The Crown/M stamping on the wooden stock sure looks queer...that is just a starting point...and the metal disk on the stock board should have unit markings... http://www.phoenixinvestmentarms.com/06navrig.htm Regards, Pete... |

Malcolm P.,
I have sent you a pm on a different, but similar situation. I would like to talk to you about it. Jim
