Default Missing Screen

Can some one put all this missing screen stuff in layman language. New to this--have New Dell with latest windows etc. I would like to see the classified section etc again--but if it requires too much ---I"ll just have to skip it. Thanks to whoever can fix the situation.

Default OK - While I'm *not* a PC guru :)

I'll try to answer your questions (both in laymans terms and techi terms.... )

Art wrote: "have New Dell with latest windows".. Layman reply - "Great!!".. Techie Reply: "Excellent reference platform, PCI V2, USB support, and a well architected OPK for the Win SKU"...

Art wrote: "I would like to see the classified section..". Layman reply: - "Your fonts are too big - in Internet Explorer - go to these menu items "VIEW | TEXT SIZE | SMALLER". Also try "TOOLS | INTERNET OPTIONS"and a dialog box will open. On the "General Tab - FONTS" choose a TrueType font (Arial, Tahoma, Verdana, etc.). These scale under the Windows GDI (I.E) better then non-truetype fonts.

Finally - if neither of these work for you - RIGHT CLICK anywhere on your desktop (home page if you have Active Desktop enabled) - and choose PROPERTIES. From the Dialog box - choose the SETTINGS tab - and increase your resolution to 1024x768 or 800x600 or something larger the 640x480. That will provide you a larger viewing area...

Also - if that doesn't work - mark the following URL and bookmark it (Add it to your Favorites after you click on it - it will take you to the Classifieds)...:

Default Not claiming GURU status but here is Another possibility...

If you have been accessing the forum through a "favorite" or a "bookmark" you may have bookmarked the wrong page to get the full framed pages and your cache is replaying your choice.

try opening a browser and manually typing in the URL:

http://www.lugerforum.com/

if you still don't see the frame on the left with the other page links in it, then try holding down the control or ctrl key and clicking on the refresh button at the top of the browser (or hold ctrl down and press F5) and then see what you get and let me know...

Art,

Try clicking on the little white square in the upper right hand corner of your window (between the - and the X. This will "maximize" your window and make the "classifieds" viewable.

I use Netscape and I can't see the resources and links unless I widen the window at the bottom, so that I can't see the start button. If I don't do that, the link is still there, you just can't see it. I put my pointer right above the visitor counter and it turns to a pointing hand, and if I click, it goes to the links and resources.
