Just Shooting Fun...
In the flury of chasing those rare and expensive collection-grade lugers, I need to remind myself, from time to time, of the fun of just plain shooting a luger...
This one has been my favorite. And it helps me control my urge when I look at my 1918 DWM LP-08 Artillery, thinking shooting it once or twice shouldn't be too bad... There is nothing quite like a 9mm, 8" bbl. luger for just plain shooting fun... Regards, Pete... |

For just plain idiotic fun try this: Everyone shoots ten rounds at a target as usual. When done the smallest group size for the ejected brass wins.

I like that contest! Is it only open to Lugers? Mine would make a very large group. Some in front and some to my rear. At an indor range some even bounce off the ceiling into the next aisle. My Astra 600 is even better. They almost always land in the lane to my left after bouncing off my right wall. If in the open, they land about 30 feet to my right but in a fairly small area. Positive ejection at its best!
