Post Trigger Lever Pin Comes Loose

In two different guns, after 20-50 shots, this pin comes loose, falls down the sideplate, and of course the trigger lever quickly follows it.

Please tell me the correct length of these pins and explain how they are held in position.

Free Boomer, The trigger lever pin should be tempered with some "springyness" to it. The length is not as important as the shape. You may have to bend it a bit, so that when installed, you have to punch it down into its final position in the side plate, against some resistance. Tom H.
