Post WWI Belt Buckles

I hope this is not OT for this forum but you need a belt to wear a holster, right? I am interested in getting a WWI belt/buckle. I see lots of the standard "Gott mit uns" buckles on EBay, however, surely there are repros available. Three questions: How can you tell a repro buckle from an original buckle? Was the standard buckle used by the Bavarian Army Corps or another buckle? What is a good source for a repro belt? KFS

I too have been wondering about these very same questions, I would really appreciate an answer also.
