Thumbs up Holster treatment

As a new luger collector I searched, and read for something to treat my luger holsters with. From all places my better half hands me a bottle of Coach brand leather moisturizer. She picked this up with the purchase of an expensive Coach brand purse. Works absolutely wonderfully. I have used several times on my luger holsters, as well as on my WWII U.S. .45 Holsters. Cannot say enough good things about it. Since I think the original holsters are as nifty as the pistols they contained, I really think this stuff does the trick. Ingredients are: Silicones, natural oils, water. Just wanted to share my new find.

Mike take a look under the General Section, there is talk about hoslter care.

A "very" touchy subject with some of the forum members, <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

Essentially, many things to put on holsters makes them "pretty" or "nicer" but can screw them up in the long run...

So, really depends on the "moisturizer", I have gotten where I am reluctant to put anything on my holsters, in case a collector 10-30 years down the road objects.

No flames meant, as I have no idea about this subject moisturizer,

Ed
