Post Reichsrevolver holster reworked for Arty

Dear friends,
I would like to have your opinion concerning the Reichsrevolver holster reworked for LP08. You can see some examples of these holsters in the Bender's book.
In my understanding a Reichsrevolver holster is not able to contain an LP08 and the related modifications are expensive.
Viceversa for a P08 it is enought to cut the holster.
Ciao

Mauro, I am familiar with thr Reichrevolver holsters having repaired a few. I believe a Luger will indeed fit in one but about like I fit in my Mothers high heels. It sticks out all over and does not have any protection for the magazine area. Not that I need any protection in that area! The modification was to take off the cartridge pouch, add a magazine pouch. Extend the left side area to accomodate for the handle of the Luger and a new top and a tool pouch added to it. Quite an intricate and I would emagine expensive modification. Cheaper than a new holster though. I am amazed to observe this modification up close. I would not look forward to making this as it looks like intricate work. Jerry Burney

Hi Jerry and thanks fot the reply.
Did you see a Reichsrevolver holster for Luger Artillery? As far as you know it is possible to fit a Luger Artillery in w/o any modifications.

Mauro, No I have never seen a Reichrevolver holster modefied for an artillery. That would indeed be unusual. And no, an un modefied holster would never fit. Hope this helps. Jerry Burney
