how do you put photos up there? the pix I have are too large to post here(anyone know how to shrink them?)

Actually Jay, for the Member Gallery, it will change them automatcially for you!

Go to the member gallery, sign in using your ID and Password and then follow directions on uploading the pictures on your hard drive.

1906 Navy Second Issue, and a darned nice looking one too!
The serial number 14b places it in the last 1000 produced. Jan Still lists the serial number range for the Second Issue from 9000a to 998b.
You might want a knowledgable collector to look at it closely. The barrel markings appear in the photos as though the pistol might have been refinished at some time, but a first hand look would be a lot better.

I take it from your handle that you are from New York. If that is so, then Tom A would be an excellent choice. At least he is East coast in the vicinity of DC on the Virginia side. Don't know how to get you two together. Perhaps Tom will see this thread and contact you.
