Post 1993 Mitchell Stainless

Dear Members,
Happy to be back. Finally got moved to Indiana and am still unpacking, so I haven't touched my malfunctioning stainless since leaving North Dakota. Mine won't set the trigger after cocking without pulling the trigger twice. I tried enhancing the trigger lever with fingernail polish to thicken it, but to no avail. Will fax Orimar as John has suggested. They never answered the phone or emails I sent in August. It sure is a beautiful pistol, I must say.

Larry, Rather than thickening the trigger lever, I would increase the angle of the bevel at the top, so that the disconnector (trigger bar plunger) can more easily, push it out of the way when the trigger is released. TH

Lugerdoc, thanks for the suggestion, but I am such a novice at this I think I better send the gun to an expert. I would like to give Orimar a chance to respond first, however.
