Uh-oh...What happened?
I usually go directly to the discussion forum, but like to go to the Lugerforum.com homepage to check on the galleries, etc. Today when I used my bookmark or when I clicked on the link at the bottom of the page, I got the rennlist login page that asked for my username and password to log in to my mailbox! My Lugerforum ID and password aren't accepted there so I get a login error. Where is the Lugerforum.com homepage?

Don't know Ron, it appears to work for me? That is my bookmark? http://www.lugerforum.com/
But, I have had trouble off and on the last week, so assumed that either there were problems or upgrades? Ed

Happened to me today for about 1 hour...then all was fine...
Maybe John D. is getting ready to "close" the Forum for a few days when Jan Still's site comes on line on 9-5-03...(????) Regards, Pete... |

* Me too. Maybe for the first 2-3 times I tried; then, bingo, I'm in like normal to the Luger Home page.
* Same for the P.38 Forum link. * Upgrades afoot, me thinks. What say John D.?? Bob |

I tried to open my first page in the Gallery and gave up! I wrote JS about it but no reply.

Wes, the gunboards site is being upgraded, it is spotty trying to get on since Thursday / Friday, as that is when Tuco switched everything over.
He said they would be working kinks out this weekend, so getting on is kind of a iffy proposition. Jan has asked his board to be tied to the main board of gunboards, so it'll have a link right there, but Tuco hasn't had time yet to make the link, Jan plans on going "live" on the 9th. **corrected to the 9th** Ed

Hi folks,
About once per month - I do a site-wide backup. It sounds easy - right? Well - the "site" includes over 14 servers, 600+ "websites" (Rennlist members, Rennlist, GAF, P.38, TracQuest, GT-Forum, blah, blah...) - so it takes a while. When I do that - I point everything to a backup server. What you hit was my "back-up" server. I'll let my "TECH" staff know not to do that again - and seeing as there are "2" of us in my entire "Technical Support" staff (well, when I look in the mirror there are "two" of me ), it shouldn't be too difficult.. Heh!! You only need to worry if the site(s) don't come back on-line, in which case, I probably died part way through the back-ups... In that case - send flowers.. |
