Just an observation on membership
For those of you who have never taken notice, the total of our registered members appears on the main forums page. I am constantly amazed by the influx of new forum members... in less than 3 weeks we have had an increase of over 50 members! Hardly a day passes when there aren't a few new registrations in the new member queue!
At this rate, we shall break the 2000 member threshold before the end of this month!

John, you know what I have observed about the current members. Aside from the unfortunate incident last week. <img border="0" alt="[grrrrrrr]" title="" src="graemlins/cussing.gif" /> I find that the members of this forum are some of the most knowledgeable and civil people that I know! People here have differences of opinion, but seldom revert to name calling as you see on many other boards. Makes me proud to be part of this group!

John,
this forum really does stir some great intellectual discussions about our little hobby. The current discussion regarding navy magazines is a fine example of this. Everytime I begin to feel that I know my Lugers, I get humbled by a discussion such that this one. I keep trying to keep a file of some of the most notable discussions, but my file runith over. The more I know, the more I realize that I don't know. Big Norm |
