Post Who Brought John Pearson's Luger Drawings?

In Bender's book entitled "Luger Holsters and Accessories of the 20th Century" there appears a number of detail drawings of Luger parts. Some of these drawings are attributed to the collection of John Pearson. I contact Mr. Pearson to see if I could get copies of some of the drawings. He indicated that he "sold everything years ago". Did anyone from this forum purchase his drawing collection or does anyone know who purchased them? Thanks for the help.

War is an act of force and to the application of that force there is no limit! So say the philosophers (Carl von Clausewitz b 1780 d 1831) of war.

I don't know if it is the same drawings or not, but former member of the old discussion forum, Frank Rial, who is still listed under the links and resources, sold a CD containing a complete set of Luger blueprints that are dated from 1913. He told me he had scanned the drawings himself so I think it is a safe presumption that he had possession of the paper drawings...

I didn't ask where he obtained them. He may very likely have the drawings you are asking about. I have a copy of the CD and the digital drawings are very large Tif files.

You can try to get a copy of the CD from Frank, but he has been non-responsive for many months. I would suggest sending him a letter asking if he still sells the CD and enclose a self addressed post card or envelope for your reply instead of just sending him a money order.

When you make contact, tell him I said he is missed here and to stop by and register as a member. If you would, please also ask him if he wants us to continue to keep him on the Links & Resources page for is Blueprint CD.

Thanks much,

John,
The drawing on CD are of the P-08. They where used by the German government as quality control document for government inspection of the P-08 and also manufacture of the P-08 at government arsenals. I am looking for drawing for the 1900 and 1906 models.
