E-Mail From Tom Knox...

A few days back I sent Tom Knox at the NAPCA an e-mail suggesting he log onto the Forum to consider a similiar NAPCA chat-room venture. This in light of the fact the contributions for each month's AutoMag are getting scarce. Suggested that interesting discussions in a chat room could be printed out to be included in each month's issuance of the AutoMag publication. This would allow NAPCA members to participate in either an Internet based format, a paper based format, or both... Tom sent me a nice e-mail back saying he and Jan C. Still have just been discussing the possibility of such a chat room... Look forward to see what develops with NAPCA... Regards, Pete... |

All,
Hopefully, we will avoid p45sing off Tom as we have done so thoroughly with Jan. Folks, you have no idea what a resource has been destroyed by our own rudeness and ignorance, Tom A. |

Hello Tom and All,
I liked your posted response so much that I decided that I would reappear from obscurity. It has been many weeks since I posted on this Forum and some of you know the reason, but I had to comment back on this. Tom is 100% correct about how rude some can be on this Forum and we have lost some valuable resources that will never come back. I hope that we have all learned our lessons. Pete, I like the idea for NAPCA to use the printed word and the Internet; a good combination! Please keep us posted if you get more information. I guess with this post, I am back again. Due to my work load, I may not be posting much and leave the technical information to you guys with great knowlwdge. Let's all keep this Forum a fun place for learning. Marvin |

Thanks for the comments guys, I really appreciate it. I will try to post when I can, but with this assignment I am on, time is not on my side. Unfortunantly, I don't have access to the Internet at my apartment.
A BIG thanks again for the welcome back! Marvin |

Received follow-up e-mails from both Tom Knox and Jan Still that this discussion about a NAPCA "chat room" on the Internet will continue when NAPCA members will get together at the January Kansas City gun show.
This might be an opportunity for Forum members who are also NAPCA members to get in on that discussion in person at KC... Regards, Pete... |
