I am sure this is a go! I would gladly start a list so if you are interested, please email me at Thor340@aol.com and give me your real name, not your user name. Thanks!

Al, I went this year, about 20 people showed up at G.T.'s house and talked guns, met each other and had a good time. That was Friday night, Saturday, met for breakfast, then in two groups we went to Ralph Shattuckâ??s and looked and some guys bought items.
Saturday night we had a nice dinner together and on Sunday, some went home early, some of us went to the Air Museum, was very nice. Going to Ralphâ??s is fun, because you learn a lot from others, we wore gloves and Ralph let us look at almost everything, plus we compared notes with each other, looked at guns, discussed them. Overall, that was a great learning environment for me. We went last spring ( first of March), when gun shows were not yet hot and heavy, so I imagine we will do the same next year. Guys have met for 3 years I think, great way to meet people and see faces.

Here's an idea for Friday night at the up-coming Luger Fest.
All attendees, who have a "funny' gun, bring it along for show and tell on Friday night. This would give all in attendance a good insight to spotting bad lugers from good lugers. Shoud be quite an educational experience. Of course, this means we would have to swallow our pride and admit to ourselves that we bought a funny gun... Someone asked about having a "shoot". There is plenty of desert to shoot in-also have indoor/outdoor ranges. Is this something that "we" would be interested in? I myself have some "toys": have friends/groups that have "toys"-how would you like to shoot a MG-42/1919A4, all auto??? Anyway: a "shoot"/event/etc......... Maybe I can be of service. Give me some fore-warning as to when/how many. I'll try to set something up! capkid |

Hey guys, with every regret in this world, I don't think I'm gonna be in good enough condition to make this trip. This leaves me with some regrets and the determination to make the next one, if you'll put up with this old Dutch man <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />
EBT helped a bit |
