OT Russian Korovin/TOZ
Can anyone tell me anything about this 6,35mm Russian Korovin? It is also known as a TOZ but the only thing I can find on it is a rather short reference to it in my Dr. Mathews first volume of "FIREARMS IDENTIFICATION"
Zhuk shows it as #2527 and #2528 Orv Reichert http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/RussianTOZ.jpg

Hi Orv, I've owned 3 TOZs in the past few years. Still have one #48029 that I'd like to find better grips for. I need the later type that screw into the frame, rather than the early Tok type attachment. Hogg & Weeks' "Pistols of the World" only devotes a short paragraph to this pistol on page 200 and shows a photo of one with the early grips. I had to have a German customer find me an some better photos from one of his books. Tom H.
