Hello John,

I figured as much and started to say nothing but wasn't sure so I thought I would ask. I was able to open the site later. Since John D.'s upgrades I have been able to surf the Luger Forum at a swoofer pace. I am on dialup and connect at 28.8 kbps and I can notice a difference.

Thank You,

Hello John,

Here is one thing I noticed on the return page after editing a post. It says it will return you to the P.38 Forum. Nothing major but I thought I should mention it.

Hi ToggleTop..!!!

Sorry about that!! I got the migration finished up last evening - which, of course - was supposed to be "transparent" to all the visitors.. Well - that was the plan, anyway...

What really happened is I got almost done - and forgot to change the SMTP e-mail settings, so folks would get an error message when they posted.. Fixed that, OK - but promptly broke something else in "fixing" that....

Figures...!

Anyway - it should have been all set since late yesterday afternoon?? Let me know if it's not working for you, OK??

Best to you - and my thanks for your patience and support!!

Hello John D.,

You are a true gentleman and a scholar. How could I ever complain about anything associated with your Forums. They are the BEST! I have a lot of patience, I think I developed it waiting on doctor's appointments. As far as support I don't think I contribute to much to that but I sure do enjoy the information transfer at the Forums. The level of your knowledge that you operate at developing these forums is way above what I could ever comprehend. How could we ever thank you enough!

Best Wishes,

Best Wishes,</strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana,Tahoma,Arial,Helvetica,Geneva">Hi ToggleTop!

Honestly - whenever you - and others - stop by and simply post what you think, or help someone out, or assist a new person with their first question - that's what the Forum is all about... To me - I collect as a hobby, so it's what the "hobby" should be about, if you know what I mean???

For that - every time I log in, and read the posts, look at the pictures or try to assist/learn with others in this Forum - honestly, that's thanks enough....

You, Sir - like many others - are a large part of why I do this Forum. In short, this Forum, the P 38 Forum, PPK/S Forums and sites are a community. Look at Frank's most recent thread and first post, as it engenders what a site should be about. Simply "folks helping folks"....

So, my thanks are sent right back to you for participating, adding to content- and just investing and taking some time to unselfishly share your knowledge with others who share the same enthusiasm....

My thanks for that.....
