[quote] The item is composed of two components. Both use the visibility of Radium at night to collimate the rear and front sights. In the picture it is possible to see how the sight works. Only three Sudicatis have been reported in literature. You can find info on this sight both in the Gortz, Bender and Walter books.
The sight is marked with Sudi and the serial number. There are some minor differences between the Sudicatis shown in the literature. According to Gortz, this is a consequence of the fact that the sight did not reach manufacturing level, but remained only prototyping status. I believe these are some of the first trials of light intensification technology for night firing.

Tacfoley, Now it is your turn: What is LOTM?

Where the heck have you been, Thor? I haven't seen very many posts from you lately. Up to your elbows in acid?

Thor,
Just don't use my Luger for the underwater tests. I'll be back in FL in 2-3 weeks if the water isn't over my livingroom floor (you never know with hurricane storm surges and the highest mountain peak around at 7 foot elevation). Anyway I'll arrange for shipping soon, probably late in this month. Now that I think about it, maybe during a storm surge would be a good time to do underwater shooting tests. At least we aren't high enough in FL to require O2 systems in our cars like some places in NM.
