What NOT to do !!
You surely know the routine...
On a nice Holiday, I opened up the Gun Room looking for something to do...Picked up my favorite shooter Luger ( 30 Cal 5 inch ) for a little cleaning...Everything is great !!............until....... Shame on me !! Of all the parts, may I ask: Anyone has a Strawed Ejector FS... Mark |

Mark,
Don't have an ejector, but--don't feel too bad, remember, the ejector is -the- most broken part in use. --Dwight |

Don't feel too bad, at least it isn't numbered!

Herb,
Remember, though, that if is an Erfurt it is inspector stamped. Hmmm, makes me wonder...are Simson and Krieghoff ejectors found stamped? --Dwight |

Dwight, neither my Erfurt or Simson extractors are stamped, if they should be then both are replacements unless the stamp is on the inside.

Herb,
The Erfurt stamp is a very tiny one on the outside. I'd really like to know about Simsons. --Dwight |

Both Erfurt & Simson have Proofed marked ejectors, at least on the pistols I have seen...
As for How it happened to that poor ejector: It was on the reassembly, I did slide it in ( front was probably binding on the slot ) pushed it in to clip it's back then: PIK !! There I was with a 2 part Ejector... MARK |

Kidvet,
FYI, I just bought a nice strawed ejector from Tom Heller after breaking one at the range. He has several different grades in stock. Amazingly, the gun performed reasonably well with the broken ejector. KFS |
